Episode 190: Vagrant Records w/ Rich Egan

Vagrant Records is an American record label that was founded in 1995 by Rich Egan and Jon Cohen. It is home to artists such as Dashboard Confessional, Saves the Day, The Get Up Kids, Senses Fail, and Alkaline Trio, and a ton of others that you know and love.
I asked Rich if he’d like to be on the podcast, he said “Sure man, would love to do your pod.” So I got him on the Skype after 30 minutes of trying and this is what we talk about:
- What was the first Vagrant release
- How he started Managing Face to Face
- Signing the Get Up Kids
- The massive Vagrant Tour
- The roadie leaving merch money in NYC story
- What were the best years at Vagrant
- Emanuel’s record leaking
- The Vagrant podcast
- His thoughts on Saves the Day on Conan
- Ignorance is Bliss leading to a shit ass tour
- Amy Madden and the Dashboard Story
- And a ton more
